and our philosophy

the winery

founded in 1638 | 14 generations | family owned and run

Paul Hahn Jr. took over in 1995 and has been growing and producing outstanding wines year after year ever since. In the last 25 years the vineyard area and production has been extened to a little over 20 hectars to meet the growing demand of our customers.
After years of working for renowned vineyards in Australia, New Zealand and California, the pandemic brought Melanie back to her roots, where she now works alongside her father at the winery.

Traditionally grown are varieties like Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Gemischter Satz, Zweigelt and Blauburger. Slowly and continuously we also broadened our assortment with Pinot Blanc, Muskateller, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Pinot Noir.
